How many of us spend time fearing the unknown? Fear of disappointing others. Fear of rejection. Fear of getting hurt. Fear of losing. Fear of failure. Fear of losing control. Fear of powerlessness. Fear of loneliness. There are so many things we can be afraid of.
As Matthew 7:7 says: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
If you are having difficulties with something, if you need help, if you’re afraid, simply ask Jesus to help you. Give him all your worries and he will gladly carry your burdens. Did you get that? You don’t have to worry anymore. Jesus will worry for you instead. You can’t figure a way out of your messy situation? Jesus knows all. He can fix your mess as long as you fix your eyes on him. You know what else? There’s no mess that’s too big for Jesus. You say you screwed up big time? He can fix it. Give him a chance to fix it. Give it a try. What do you have to lose? Get on your knees, confess your sins to God, tell him what you need help with, then leave it all to him. Wash yourself of worry and fear. Then step out of his way and give him the chance to help you. His way will always be better than yours. So don’t waste your time telling him you know better than him.
He’s got it. Trust in him.
The only name that can save you.
