All things bats (Day 2)

In the spirit of all things bats, we visited the library this morning and went on a bat book hunt. In the image, you’ll see our top 5 picks. We started by reading Stellaluna. I must say that I thought it was the most adorable book! It’s a fictional book but it’s also filled with some great facts on bats. We all enjoyed it very much.books about bats

Now this afternoon, we will try doing great activities found in this Stellaluna Unity Study found at this link: www.homeschoolshare.com/stellaluna.php . It includes a section on Language Arts, Science, Math, Social Studies and much more. I have to send a great big thank you to the author and creator of this unit study. It’s going to be such a blessing to use a beautifully made unity study like this one. Can’t wait until this afternoon!
